I had a dream on the weekend that I stood and told to the church on sunday. Its important and so I post to you a video of me telling them. Slide the locator to the 20:22 mark exactly.

Two Wooden Objects

I had a dream that I was walking into a very large room that had furniture in it. There was a quite large table that drew my attention. It was of modern design and was made of a number of different types of wood. The quality of it was impressive. As I approached the table I began to recognize some of the fine hardwoods. There were light and dark contrasting varieties.  One was black walnut, an American wood common to my local area. Its finish was very good. Before I could look at the other hardwoods, I noticed that the table was divided into 4 quadrants. Before I could see what was on the other 3 quadrants, I noticed that one of the quadrants was completely covered in factories.  This seemed remarkable, yet natural. The factories were all quite modern and purpose-built. I could not see what the factories produced but I could tell they made among the world's best manufacturing of the most up-to-date products.  The details of the machinery and the spacious complexity of them were impressive.

 As I looked at them I could hear music playing which emanated from the factories. Intrigued by this, I looked closely and saw that in the parking lot or lawn of a number of the factories, festive tents had been rented and set up for some kind of celebration. The music was of an upbeat nature and bands were playing in a similar way to "happy days are here again" of an earlier time - as if to say that good times were here and catered events were taking place outdoors to celebrate it. I could tell it told of a coming prosperity.

 It was then I saw something I had not noticed before- perhaps because it was so huge- or perhaps because it suddenly appeared like the human hand appeared to Beltashazzar. It was an enormous mighty arm rising up towards the heavens from the midst of the factories. If it was in scale with the factories then it was perhaps a thousand feet high- if in scale with the table then miles high. Because it was becoming obvious that the table represented a nation. And I knew who that nation was.

  More terrifying still was what was in the hand of the mighty arm. It held an enormous crude wooden club of a terrifying size that extended that much further towards the heavens. I stood looking in fear at what was before me and sensed a great dread come over me. As I looked down over the factories, I could still hear the upbeat positive music playing, completely oblivious of the towering arm over them, holding the enormous club. I stood almost sick with concern, yet the mighty arm stood motionless. I was ominously concerned how long this would go on, when suddenly my mind recalled the verse: "Yet for all this, His hand is still upraised."

 Then, shortly after this, the factories were about to begin their self-congratulatory festivities, when suddenly, the mighty arm with the club came down.  I looked, and there was no more lights coming from the factories. I listened and there was no more music coming from the factories. I stood and waited and all the factories were silent. Not a sound of music or machinery emanted from them. They were silent and dark.

At this, I awoke and realized it had been from the Lord.  Shortly afterward, vowing to remember it, as it was the middle of the night, I went back to sleep. As I fell asleep and began to dream, but seeing nothing but darkness, I heard a voice.  It said,

"Hitler's dream".

I paused and wondered what this meant. Then, still in darkness, I heard a voice again. It said

"From the north"

And again I awoke.
I sat in the darkness thinking carefully.  What was Hitler's dream?  Hitler's dream was world conquest, mass murder of the Lord's people- Jews and Christians alike, and destroying his enemies by whatever means possible including 5th column saboteurs.  He was going to make himself a kind of self-proclaimed messiah. War, conquest and ultimate power. That was Hitler's dream.  But I thought, 'Hitler's dead. And our nation helped to put him in the grave. The German people were begging for food from the Allies at the end of the war with 4 million dead and 20 million homeless'. But the words spoken to me were Hitler's dream.  His dream lives on today but especially in a certain people. It is those people prophecyed as surrounding Israel in the last days. In fact these people- the age old enemies of Israel openly profess their admiration of Adolf Hitler, even re-naming one of their nations at his suggestion:  Iran.  These are the Muslim nations surrounding Israel whose venomous hatred of Israel and Christians alike is very ancient. They are the dream of Hitler living still.

 The second voice's message spoken to me was one I knew immediately- "From the north".  This is the age old prophecy to Israel of where the antichrist and his invaders would come from- and did come from in earlier fulfillments. Jeremiah 4:6-7 is but one example. It says:
  For I am bringing disaster
      from the north
  even terrible destruction.
A lion has come out of his lair,
  A destroyer of nations has set out.
He has left his place
   to lay waste your land.
Your towns will lie in ruins
  without inhabitant.
So put on sackcloth,
  lament and wail
for the fierce anger of the Lord
 has not turned away from us.

I realized who the arm represents in a dual sense. I remembered that Isaiah 10:5 made clear the antichrist's boasts and the Lord's prophecies about him:

"Woe to the Assyrian the rod of my anger"

The next sunday at church I determined that I would stand up and speak the prophecy to all of them. Fortunately, that church was better than my old church in that they would hear prophecies. I stood and told all the dream its meaning and concluded with this passage of scriptures from Deuteronomy 8 that spoke to the prophecy about a nation like ours:

"When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. Be careful you do forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his decrees that I am giving you this day. Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down, and when your flocks and herds grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery."   Going next to verse 17 I read: "You may say to yourself  'My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.'  But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which he swore to your ancestors as it is today." Verse 20 concludes: "Like the nations the Lord destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the Lord your God".

The way that our nation puts its faith in its wealth and technology and manufacturing and not in the Lord who provided it was so profoundly contrasted by the crudeness of the club in his hand and told me its downfall will be sudden, crude, simple, ugly, and overpowering.

After this, on monday night, I was reflecting back on the parallel of the Lord holding his enemies as a rod in his hand against His people and others, and as I listened to the book of Isaiah, the 10th chapter came on which has the exact quote that I had alluded to:

Woe to those who make unjust laws,
   to those who issue oppressive decrees,
2 to deprive the poor of their rights
   and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people,
making widows their prey
   and robbing the fatherless.
3 What will you do on the day of reckoning,
   when disaster comes from afar?
To whom will you run for help?
   Where will you leave your riches?
4 Nothing will remain but to cringe among the captives
   or fall among the slain.
Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away,
   his hand is still upraised.
5 Woe to the Assyrian, the rod of my anger,
   in whose hand is the club of my wrath!

I had quoted part of this briefly as you noticed, yet I had not realized til the next monday night that it included a hand holding a wooden CLUB! Moreover, the line just before verse 5 is the very one that had come to my mind in the dream when I saw the upraised arm: "Yet for all this....His hand is still upraised."     The rest of Isaiah 10 continues:

6I send him against a godless nation, (!!!!)
   I dispatch him against a people who anger me,
to seize loot and snatch plunder,
   and to trample them down like mud in the streets.

Take note!  Does that match our nation?

Isaiah 10 continues..

7 But this is not what he intends,
   this is not what he has in mind;
his purpose is to destroy,
   to put an end to many nations.

Was this not Hitler's dream?  Verse 12 says:

12 When the Lord has finished all his work against Mount Zion and Jerusalem, he will say, “I will punish the king of Assyria for the willful pride of his heart and the haughty look in his eyes. 13 For he says:

“‘By the strength of my hand I have done this,
   and by my wisdom, because I have understanding.
I removed the boundaries of nations,

(Indeed Hitler did do this but take note that ISIS today has already removed the borders between Syria and Iraq.)
I plundered their treasures;

(They have certainly done that and  I could send you links showing just how spectacularly they have done that. ISIS has plundered many ancient sites.)
like a mighty one I subdued their kings.

(note this - ISIS threatens Iraq and Syria's government and If they do defeat them- it will be a short while before little Lebanon falls- the three horns uprooted before the "Little Horn" of Daniel 7:20. This next part of Isaiah prophecies the ease of which the antichrist seizes nations)
14 As one reaches into a nest,
   so my hand reached for the wealth of the nations;
as people gather abandoned eggs,
   so I gathered all the countries;
not one flapped a wing,
   or opened its mouth to chirp.’”
(Many of Hitler's earliest conquests were just this- nations that capitulated
out of intimidation without firing a shot. The antichrist will be the same- as indeed Hitler and others were a portent of him. I do not prophecy that ISIS will be the end time antichrist forces, merely as a watchman on the wall I note that the spacing of birth pains is getting shorter and their magnitude worse, and that they already match a remarkable number of antichrist prophecies.)

15 Does the ax raise itself above the person who swings it,
   or the saw boast against the one who uses it?
As if a rod were to wield the person who lifts it up,
   or a club brandish the one who is not wood!
16 Therefore, the Lord, the Lord Almighty,
   will send a wasting disease upon his sturdy warriors;
under his pomp a fire will be kindled
   like a blazing flame.
17 The Light of Israel will become a fire,
   their Holy One a flame;
in a single day it will burn and consume
   his thorns and his briers.
18 The splendor of his forests and fertile fields
   it will completely destroy,
   as when a sick person wastes away.
19 And the remaining trees of his forests will be so few
   that a child could write them down.

Like my earlier dream of the glorious tree of all the world's people which was burned in an instant, this is the wrath of the Lord and also the fate of the antichrist at the end of the tribulation and corresponds to Matthew 24 which says: Immediately after the tribulation of those days,  the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

There is considerable more written about what his wrath will accomplish both on Israel, and those he uses against Israel. It includes the awesome earth shaking events of the great and terrible day of the LORD described in Isaiah 13: 9-14 (remember there are no chapter breaks in the Bible- those were imposed falsely by modern men- this is one long continuing prophecy!):

See, the day of the Lord is coming
   —a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—
to make the land desolate
   and destroy the sinners within it.
10 The stars of heaven and their constellations
   will not show their light.
The rising sun will be darkened
   and the moon will not give its light.
11 I will punish the world for its evil,
   the wicked for their sins.
I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty
   and will humble the pride of the ruthless.
12 I will make people scarcer than pure gold,
   more rare than the gold of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble;
   and the earth will shake from its place
at the wrath of the Lord Almighty,
   in the day of his burning anger.

Then referring back to the tribulation again,

14 Like a hunted gazelle,
   like sheep without a shepherd,
they will all return to their own people,
   they will flee to their native land.
15 Whoever is captured will be thrust through;
   all who are caught will fall by the sword.
16 Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes;*
   their houses will be looted and their wives violated.

*A serious Christian friend told me recently that the Lord told him He would kill people's children for their sins. Some would say the Lord would never do such a thing but how do they explain Isaiah 13:16? Or let them read Revelation 2:23.
Some people say the tribulation is just going to occur in Israel and specific countries,  around it, but it says in Isaiah 14:24 near the conclusion of this long prophecy:

The Lord Almighty has sworn,
“Surely, as I have planned, so it will be,
   and as I have purposed, so it will happen.
25 I will crush the Assyrian in my land;
   on my mountains I will trample him down.
His yoke will be taken from my people,
   and his burden removed from their shoulders.”

26 This is the plan determined for the whole world;
   this is the hand stretched out over all nations.
27 For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart Him?
   His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

Finally, did you know the Lord has an extremely similar description of the fate of His enemies as for those nations He uses them against and who claim to be His?  I discovered only recently this amazing verse of Isaiah 30:30 which says:

The Lord will cause people to
hear his majestic voice
and will make them see
his arm coming down
with raging anger and consuming fire,
with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.
The voice of the Lord will shatter Assyria;
with His rod He will strike them down.
Every stroke the Lord lays on them
with His punishing club
will be to the music of timbrels and harps
as He fights them in battle
with the blows of His arm.

After all this I pondered it and went to sleep, and that night around 4 AM, my father died.  I pondered this all. Time is short and one day we aren't here anymore. Seek the Lord while you still may.
